Do you listen

There are many
People
Many people
Who talk to you?

But how many
If any
Really care

My thought is this
Wouldn’t it be bliss?
If everyone could
Listen

Just for a little while
Or at least
Until you smile

Sometimes you have things
To say
But little things
Get in the way

Your words get slightly
Twisted
The important thoughts
Don’t get listed

Sometime you just
Want to yell out “hey “
What about me
I’ve something to say

It sends me around
The bend
Before you have a chance
Conversation comes
To an end!

But if no words
You do spit
Them not heard
Whose fault is it?

So all I have to say
Is let them all spill
Out today

So let the words flow
Tumble out in a
Row whooh
Whooh whooh
